Sex education policy remains in the hands of state legislators with policies differing across the nation. While bills are regularly introduced, most fail to advance—and in the past few years, those that do mostly focus on limiting the progress and inclusivity of sex education.

Focusing on cross-movement federal policy, SIECUS advances sex education by leading the Sex Ed Policy Action Council (SEPAC), a network of state-based sex-ed advocates and policy leaders—working toward a world where all people can access sexual and reproductive freedom as they define it for themselves.
