1978, a corner office in winter. Mahogany and walnut panels glow under soft light. Sweet resins and smoky cedar fill the air, while hints of lemongrass and Medjool date brighten the edges. Tonka bean lingers warmly, rich and inviting. When the Venetian blinds fall, the heat rises.

burn no. 1burn no. 1

Formulated with skin-softening jojoba and soybean oils, our massage candle is designed to be poured onto skin once melted and extinguished.

Notes of:
Amber, cedar leaf, lemongrass, tonka bean and medjool date.

Smells like:
(corner office) 1978, where power meets leisure. Mahogany wood, bar carts, swivel chairs, and wall-to-wall carpet. A bold blend of amber and cedar leaf sets the tone, while lemongrass and Medjool date add unexpected brightness. Tonka bean lingers in the air, rich and warm. When the Venetian blinds go down, the temperature goes up.

using burn

light.

For best results, we recommend letting the candle burn for 10–15 minutes, or until the top level of oil pools evenly and there is still solid candle oil underneath.

extinguish.

To extinguish your candle, gently blow out the flame and contain any smoke with the jar's lid. A wick snuffer works great, too. Never attempt to extinguish a candle using water.

pour.

Once extinguished, carefully check the temperature of the glass container and oil. Pour and apply the massage oil. You can pour the oil directly onto skin, or apply with your fingertips and massage it in. The light and silky texture will moisturize and absorb into the skin, and can be reapplied as desired.

burn time.

The candle's continuous burn time is approximately 12 hours in 2 oz. and 30 hours in 4 oz. We recommend burning the candle in 10–15 minute increments for optimal consistency.

safety

The wick of burn is made from 100% cotton with a lead-free, aluminum base.

Ensure the wick is trimmed down to 1/4” prior to each lighting, being careful to prevent wick trimmings from accumulating in the wax pool and allowing the candle to burn uniformly.

Burn your candle within sight, keeping it away from objects that can catch fire. Never leave your candle unattended or within the reach of children and pets. If you smell an excessively smoky scent, this is caused by excess wick trimmings or ash having fallen into the oil pool, and should be removed before next use.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If this occurs wash affected area thoroughly with water. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

why use salt from the Dead Sea?

Salts from the Dead Sea contain magnesium chloride and potassium chloride that enhance the skin's natural hydration process and act as gentle, yet effective exfoliants.

what are the health benefits of bath salts?

Taking baths with bath salts can help to promote good sleep, reduce stress, and hydrate skin.

is soak edible?

No, soak is not intended for consumption.

what's the best way to apply burn?

Once you blow out the candle, the melted oil is ready to use. The oil requires no cooling due to the low melting point of the natural oils that make up burn. You can either pour the warm oil directly onto skin, into your hand, or dip and apply the candle oil with your fingertips.

can burn be used as a lubricant?

Burn should not be used as a personal lubricant. It is safe for external use only, including on intimate areas.
