Recommended for daily care, wash is safe for external use on intimate areas. Wash is fortified with vitamins B3, B5, C, and E to support healthy skin.

pH-balance

Wash has a pH of 5.5-6.5 (the pH of our skin is about 5.5 and the typical vagina ranges from 3.5–4.5). Our body wash uses a low percentage of preservatives and citric acid as a pH balancer.

All maude body products comply with California Proposition 65, Sephora Clean Standards, IFRA standards for fragrance, and standards of all regions they are sold in.

All body products undergo the following testing: Proposition 65 testing which includes heavy metals and other contaminants, Microbiological Testing, Stability Testing, and COA Testing which includes pH, viscosity, appearance, odor, and specific gravity testing.

can I use wash internally?

Wash is for external-use only. If washing your vulva, note that the vagina is a self-cleaning organ and should be cleaned with warm water.

why use a pH-balanced body wash?

Wash is formulated to help the skin maintain its natural pH level. Oftentimes, body washes that are not pH-balanced can interact negatively with sensitive and even normal skin types, leading to irritation and inflammation. With a pH range of 5.5-6.5, wash gently cleanses and moisturizes skin while supporting its natural pH level.

is wash good for dry skin?

Wash is free from harsh surfactants (i.e. sulfates) and is formulated with skin-softening ingredients, making it more ideal for dry skin. In cases of skin conditions associated with dryness such as eczema, use a cleanser formulated for these conditions.

Best Body Wash!!!
I have used No. 1 Body Wash for several years. It is amazing! I know Maude has come out with some new fragrances, but nothing can compare to No. 1! Please don’t consider removing this body wash from your collection. I absolutely love the fragrance and what it does for my skin.

Love, love, love!
This body wash is a total win—it smells amazing, feels super luxe, and leaves my skin soft and happy. I love how gentle it is, especially for sensitive areas, and it never leaves my skin feeling stripped. The scent is warm, a little retro, and just the right amount of bold!
