What is your relationship status?

Partnered

How long have you been together?

I’ve been with Jordan for about a year and a half.

How did you meet?

We are both graphic designers so we’ve crossed paths a few times at various events, but never really knew each other. Somehow we started chatting on Instagram (Jordan slid into my DMs) and it was casual at first until he asked me out. I was so busy working that it never really crossed my mind to go on a date, but I was happy when he asked me out. We balance each other out really well.

In your day to day life, how do you make time for intimacy?

It’s been hard during the quarantine, but overall just being intentional. I miss going on dates with my partner because going on dates meant we were intentional about spending time together. During the quarantine we have to really commit to being intentional about watching a movie with no phones or cooking a meal together. Even something as simple as going on a long walk can be a very intimate moment for us, but I soak it all in, big or small.

With social distancing & quarantine, how has human contact changed for you?

Let’s just say I really miss hugs. I don’t think I realized how important physical touch from my loved ones are important to me. It feels a little awkward to see a friend and not give them a hug.

You feel most loved when__

Someone sends me snail mail or sends a text letting me know they are thinking of me. I feel loved by my partner when he makes me dinner or does small gestures that show he’s thinking of me. He also has this great smile; I love when he smiles at me.
