Photography / Creative Production Intern

maude is looking for a motivated and sharp Photography/Creative Producer intern who has an incredible design sense and is interested in working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has extensive knowledge in Adobe, has experience in organizing, editing, and maintaining photo files, and is interested in working closely with a thoughtful brand on set and in creative production. This role is responsible for supporting our design team in their pursuit to produce work that is dynamic, thought-provoking and unique across the various mediums we work in. This is a hands-on experience that will allow the intern to work on a wide range of disciplines and be very involved in each of them, as well as more broadly learn how to build and activate a brand.
This internship is up to 20+ hours per week and is paid / for credit for current or recent students only with the possibility of turning into a full-time role in the near future.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, edit, and maintain photo and video files
- Produce still and animated social, email and digital assets
- Work with the brand team to retouch and color-correct images
- Assist on creative shoots
Requirements
- An undergraduate junior or senior in photography, design, film, or graphic design only.
- Eligible to receive college credit and available to work a minimum of 3 days a week
- You MUST have samples of your work to be considered
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, and Canva
- Skilled in motion graphics and video editing (Adobe After Effects)
- Skilled in retouching and resizing photos (Light Room / Photoshop)
- Strong eye and high taste level aesthetically
- Open minded and nimble, able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be organized with a strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Creative problem solving and analytical skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, often-changing, startup environment
- Flexible and entrepreneurial attitude; able to work independently and within team
