maude is seeking a sharp writer and content strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in content strategy and editorial, understanding how to create measurable content that is impactful, interesting, and smart. This individual will lead the brand voice and channel growth and will have an integral part in building the next phase of maude's content strategy.

  • Work directly with team to define, execute and scale overall brand content vision and to establish key editorial pillars that align with brand principles, mission, and lifestyle

  • Develop, pitch and execute a highly optimized multi-channel editorial calendar, content and storytelling strategy across all properties including press, the maudern, email, social, and collateral to engage consumers 

  • Edit and optimize existing content into multiple pieces designed for communication across online and offline channels

  • Prioritize and manage communications, branding and content budgets

  • Work with marketing team to create and ensure the meeting of key metrics to achieve growth and engagement goals including optimizing SEO, building traffic to the site, and customer acquisition though content engagement

  • Collaborate and coordinate among staff, freelancers and agencies to deliver on day-to-day content, social calendars, PR efforts, and email marketing to meet objectives and key results

  • Establish syndication partnerships with appropriate editorial outlets

  • Create and oversee intelligent copy across all channels including web, email, social, and content

  • Manage copy briefing and editing for internal and external partners to ensure consistent brand voice

  • Lead and plan new product launch and core product communications and copy strategies across channels including marketing and website

  • 3-6+ years of relevant work experience in branded content marketing and/or editorial

  • Strong reporting/writing/editing skills with a sharp eye for detail

  • Proven ability to ideate and execute engaging branded and social content 

  • Clear sensibility for brand and brand marketing 

  • Understanding of Google Analytics, SEO, and measuring ROI 

  • A/B test outputs alongside the marketing team

  • Experience at an ecommerce company is a plus
